There are opportunities to do an internship at FES Peace and Security Centre of Competence Sub-Saharan Africa. If you are interested, please send us an email with attached CV and cover letter addressed to the Director in which you should highlight your motivation to do an internship with us. Kindly send this email to the following email address (email: info(at)fes-pscc.org).
All applicants should have preferably at least a Bachelor Degree. Due to the fact that we are a social democratic political foundation, the applicant should feel committed to social democratic values.
Additionally, the applicant should speak very good French and English. German is an asset.
An internship in our office takes normally at least three months.
A concrete topical area will be assigned to every intern in order to ensure that the intern can work on his/her own project. It is possible and highly welcomed that interns are attending seminars and conferences, write reports and minutes, do internet research as well as conduct all sorts of work which are connected to our daily office work.
Unfortunately, FES Peace and Security Centre of Competence Sub-Saharan Africa can not provide a monthly remuneration for an internship. Though, FES can pay a monthly allowance. Further expenses such as flight costs, visa fees, and medical examination are not covered by FES. These costs as well as the expenses for an international health care insurance must be borne by the intern.
We are looking forward to your application!
We ask for your understanding that due to the high amount of applications, it is not possible for us to send you an email to confirm that we have received your application. If you are not receiving any response, we could not shortlist you for an internship.
